STUDENT OF CHARACTER: The student of character for January is Nolan Alexander. Nolan loves learning about history and world events and he thinks Mr. Lowe makes Social Studies fun and interesting. He is looking forward to new classes in high school, especially German. His favorite Shepherd memory is Phi Delta days of bowling. Nolan’ would like you to know he has found stressful situations or tasks usually feel better once completed.
BOY’S BASKETBALL: 7th grade won 34-14 over Putnam County. Leading the way for the Rams: Drake Kaufman with 12 points, Jack Henson with 9 points, Luke Boaz with 5 points and Miguel Rodriguez with 4 points. The Rams are now 8-13.
8th grade won 48-33 over Putnam County. Leading the way for the Rams: Levi Sheehan with 13 points, Aiden Mucci with 10 points, Conner Price with 8 points. The Rams are now 18-4
DRAMA: Cast and Crew of Supercomics, be sure to turn in your forms and t-shirt order to Mrs. Lindig by the end of the day! Remember, there is NO PRACTICE on MON. Jan. 21st. Crew will meet on Tues. Jan. 22 at 8 a.m. Bring scripts, notebooks, and pencils. Cast, check the board for the practice schedule next week.
YEARBOOKS: Yearbooks are available to purchase for $20. If you’d like one, grab a form off the student services desk outside the office. The last day to turn in the form with payment is March 1st. If you are not sure if you have already ordered a yearbook, please check the list on the office window.
YEARBOOK CONTEST: Calling all artists. If you would like a chance to draw the cover of this year's yearbook, grab an informational paper at the student services desk and see Mr. Baxter with any questions. Drawings MUST be submitted by February 8th.
MAKER CLUB: The Maker Club will begin on January 23rd after school in the Shepherd Library. It will meet every Wednesday from 3:45-4:15 p.m. until March 20th. Students may be picked-up or ride the last bus home. Each member will be creating a project of choice to work on the whole time to display in the art show in May. Pick up a permission slip with Ms. Darby in the library and turn them into her by January 22nd. Bring your ideas, imagination, and join the fun!
