Reading Specialist

Full-time reading specialist for Jefferson School

Elementary Certificate(K-9) License with either a Reading or Reading Specialist Endorsement.

STEM Teacher split time between Central and McKinley

 Endorsement in Math, Science, or Technology



  • Deliver STEM-oriented instruction through project-based learning methods.

  • Utilizes technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration

  • Employs a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and performance assessments, which guide the learning process toward curriculum goals and student learning.

  • Organizes, develops, and coordinates special STEM events/activities.

  • Share STEM events and activities through social media

  • Utilize curriculum to create and align lessons tied to NGSS standard

7th Grade Math
Middle School Math Endorsement required.

Technology Department
Director of Technology

Responsible for the District's technological infrastructure including all networks; network security; data; and voice communication hardware/software; coordination of technological systems; and integration and implementation of technology with curricula.

Master's degree (preferred) and experience in technology used in a public school setting as it relates to familiarity with various operating systems, and various instructional applications, familiarity with a student information system, experience in developing and implementing large technology projects through project management.

Substitute Lunch Server
If you are energetic and enjoy working with children, we are looking for substitute lunch servers. Hours are Monday thru Friday 10:45 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Applicants must be willing to complete an on-line food handler training or have an equivalent certification. Hours needed:

7:45-8:45 a.m. and 2:50-3:50 p.m.

Tuesday afternoon hours are 2:20-3:20 p.m.

Half-Day Student Attendance
7:45-8:45 a.m.
11:25 a.m. -12:25 p.m.
If hired, you will be required to  turn in a physical, TB test and have a criminal background check completed.
