Students are expected to read their Independent Reading (IR) books each night. Fifty pages will be due each Monday for a grade in the Independent Reading category for Literature.
A one page revision of a daily question is due throughout the quarter. Students should revise using the tricks and tips we discussed in class using mentor texts. This will be recorded as an Independent Writing grade in Language Arts.

November 23 - November 27 —Journal entry is due for hours 3 and 6 on Friday, November 20th.
Continue to work on your Best Feature Presentation as you finish reading your IR books! When it is completed, you will give your presentation to the class.

Lit: Centers—Independent Reading, Vocabulary, Grammar (prepositions), Independent Writing (both class periods)
FRIDAY—NO SCHOOL/Journal due for all classes on December 4th.
Textbooks are kept in my classroom but can be sent home as needed for assignment completion. Students just need to ask me for one!
You can access Google Drive from home. Your login and password are the same as they are at school. Go to gmail.com. Remember to enter your full email address.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be Tuesday, November 10th (3:15-4:!5, 5-7) and Thursday, November 12th (4:30-7)

Late Work Policy
Late work will be accepted, but points will be deducted from the grade. Corrections can be made to any assignments. The original work and corrected work should be returned to the teacher the next school day. Absent work should be completed and turned in as soon as possible.
