Breakfast/Lunch

A breakfast and lunch program is provided for all students, K-4. Breakfast begins at 7:45 am.  The cost of breakfast is $1.35 for full pay and $.30 for students who qualify for reduced fees. The students may participate in the school lunch program or bring their own sack lunch. The cost of lunch is $2.50 for full pay and $.40 for students who qualify for reduced lunch The following regulations have been established for the school lunch program.

Meal Purchase Procedure

All children who purchase meals will be issued the child's account number. Parents are requested to make a minimum deposit of $15.00 to their child's account. The money will be used for the purchase of lunches or milk. Any money left on the account from the preceding year will be carried over to the next year: When a child's account balance reaches $5.00, a reminder will be given to the child. 

Children who qualify for free or reduced meals will be responsible for paying for extra food and milk. Children whose parents qualify under the free and reduced lunch guidelines will be issued the account number on a no cost basis. However, if your income increases by more than $50.00 per month ($600.00 per year) or if your household size decreases during the course of the year, you are required to report this to the school. Further, you may apply for free and reduced-price meals at any time during the school year should the family income status/household size change.
