My name is Miss May and I am one of the first grade teachers at Lincoln. This will be my second year teaching first grade. I graduated from Western Illinois University with my degree in Early Childhood Education. Homework

Each night your child will bring home a reading bag with books at their current reading level. Please read at least one book from the reading bag with your child each night. Along with the reading bag the students will have a monthly reading log. Once your child has read a book, they will color an image on their reading log for each book that they have read. At the end of the month, I will collect the reading logs. Students who fill up at least one side of their reading log will earn a special prize.
