The Wilson Reading System (WRS) is a comprehensive intensive program for students and adults with significant reading and writing challenges.  I am a certified Level 1 Wilson Reading Instructor.  Our goal for your child is to have them independently read grade-level text (both narrative and informational) with ease and understanding.  The instructional goals are to develop:
1.  Accurate and speedy word recognition
2.  Spelling and proofreading proficiency
3.  Increased vocabulary, background knowledge, and listening comprehension skills
4.  Fluency with an emphasis on expression and meaning
5.  Grade-level independent silent reading skills with narrative and informational text
