OCTOBER IS NATIONAL PRINCIPALS MONTH!
Being a principal is so much more than leading a school. It means being a visionary, problem-solver, mentor, advocate, encourager, listener, decision-maker, and sometimes the calm in the middle of the storm.
It takes courage to make tough decisions, humility to listen and learn, patience to navigate challenges, and a deep commitment to students, teachers, staff, families, and our community.
Great principals understand that leadership isn’t about having all the answers and it’s about bringing people together, creating opportunities, building trust, and making sure every student has the chance to BELONG. LEARN. GROW.

Central Intermediate School is looking for a 5th Grade Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must have prior basketball coaching experience and a flexible schedule for any and all practices and matches. Duties include, but are not limited to: running practices, communicating with families, being in charge of game day activities (such as setting up concessions, tearing down), and scheduling parent workers for home games, assisting during the 6th grade game and working with the 7th/8th grade coaches. Welcome Back! Here is the August menu.
Good news! OES will be offering meals to students at no cost again this year under the USDA's CEP program! Each student may receive a full breakfast and lunch each day, free of charge. Anything taken in addition to the regular meal will be subject to charges to the student meal account.

You must list the names AND ages of the children you are ordering meals for and please remember to click the 'submit' button on the second page. The link will remain open until noon on Monday and pick up will be Wednesday, July 8th. Also, we ask that if you order meals, please intend to pick them up.

The District Office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. throughout July and will be closed on July 3.
If you need to register your child(ren) for school, you may begin the registration process online at www.oes141.org. Once your information has been reviewed, a staff member will contact/email you with a password to continue the registration process. Please note that because the elementary school offices are closed during July, responses may be delayed until staff return on August 3.
Registration paperwork and other school-related documents may be dropped off at the District Office during summer office hours. We will ensure all paperwork is delivered to the appropriate school; however, processing may not begin until August when school office staff return.
Sports physicals may also be submitted to the District Office and will be forwarded to the appropriate personnel. To avoid delays, please include the completed Insurance Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form, signed by both the student and parent/guardian, along with the physical.

We are so excited for the overwhelming request for summer meal bags this first week of our program. Regretfully, we must close the link early this week as the numbers are much, much higher than we had anticipated and planned for!

Here's a couple reminders:
You must only order meals for children ages 18 & under.
If you or a spouse are not able to pick up meals for your children, you must designate a person to pick them up. They will not be distributed to anyone other than that person.
Meal pick up is Wednesday, June 3rd at CENTRAL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL, main entrance, from 10am -1pm.
Please place only 1 order per family with the intention of picking them up on the distribution day.
