April Lunch Menu

OES Families:
Due to the winter weather and road conditions, OES 141 will transition to an e-learning day today, March 16th, for staff and students. Each building/teacher will send out information to families about the expectations for e-learning. We appreciate your flexibility and partnership as we continue to support student learning, even when we are not together in person.

Our parent 5Essentials raffle winner is Sarah Fox! Thanks to all of our parents who gave their input about the great things that happen and Lincoln and things that we need to improve on in the future. We value the input that we get from our families!
Congratulations Sarah!

"Fourth grade students and families are invited to attend the OES Beginning Band Informational Meeting on Monday, May 4 at 7pm. The meeting will take place in the Central Intermediate School band room. If you have any questions, or are unable to attend the meeting but would like the information, please contact Ms. Weiler: rweiler@oes141.org."

In honor of Limb Difference Awareness Month, Ms. Chelsea’s AM preschool class took time to recognize and celebrate the many ways people grow, learn, and move through the world.
This month, they highlighted one of their students who has a limb difference. To celebrate, her mom visited the classroom and read a special story, creating a meaningful moment for everyone.
Our goal is to nurture a classroom environment where every child feels included, confident, and proud of who they are. We continue to emphasize kindness, curiosity, and the understanding that every person’s body and experiences are unique.
Thank you all for wearing orange in support of our sweet friend!

OES Families:
We want to inform you that due to a City of Ottawa water main break affecting both Central Intermediate School and Shepherd Middle School, we are required to shut off the water for the remainder of the day beginning at Noon. Because we cannot safely operate without access to running water, we will be implementing an early dismissal today for both Central and Shepherd.
Students at Central will be dismissed at 11:10am and students at Shepherd will be dismissed at Noon. Please make arrangements for your child’s pickup, and note that buses will run according to this adjusted schedule. After-school activities and programs are canceled for today.
All of our K-4 buildings are NOT affected and will be dismissed at their normal 2:20pm Tuesday schedule.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
