Due to the winter weather and road conditions, OES 141 will transition to an e-learning day today, March 16th, for staff and students. Each building/teacher will send out information to families about the expectations for e-learning. We appreciate your flexibility and partnership as we continue to support student learning, even when we are not together in person.
If you picked up your meals today, you can not be provided any more meals this week. Next week's link will open soon!

We are so excited for the overwhelming request for summer meal bags this first week of our program. Regretfully, we must close the link early this week as the numbers are much, much higher than we had anticipated and planned for!
If you didn't get your order in, please email Mrs McConnell with your request and if there are any not picked up, we will gladly give them out on a first come, first serve basis. (vmcconnell@oes141.org)
Going forward, we will be better prepared to accommodate all requests and apologize for anyone we can't provide for this week.

Here's a couple reminders:
You must only order meals for children ages 18 & under.
If you or a spouse are not able to pick up meals for your children, you must designate a person to pick them up. They will not be distributed to anyone other than that person.
Meal pick up is Wednesday, June 3rd at CENTRAL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL, main entrance, from 10am -1pm.
Please place only 1 order per family with the intention of picking them up on the distribution day.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs McConnell at vmcconnell@oes141.org

No School on Monday

Congratulations Sarah!

This month, they highlighted one of their students who has a limb difference. To celebrate, her mom visited the classroom and read a special story, creating a meaningful moment for everyone.
Our goal is to nurture a classroom environment where every child feels included, confident, and proud of who they are. We continue to emphasize kindness, curiosity, and the understanding that every person’s body and experiences are unique.
Thank you all for wearing orange in support of our sweet friend!

We want to inform you that due to a City of Ottawa water main break affecting both Central Intermediate School and Shepherd Middle School, we are required to shut off the water for the remainder of the day beginning at Noon. Because we cannot safely operate without access to running water, we will be implementing an early dismissal today for both Central and Shepherd.
Students at Central will be dismissed at 11:10am and students at Shepherd will be dismissed at Noon. Please make arrangements for your child’s pickup, and note that buses will run according to this adjusted schedule. After-school activities and programs are canceled for today.
All of our K-4 buildings are NOT affected and will be dismissed at their normal 2:20pm Tuesday schedule.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
