3rd Grade Guest Speaker Visit: Michael McGrath, Hollywood Set Builder
The third grade had a special visit from Michael McGrath (father 3rd grader Jude), who works as a Set Builder in Hollywood! Mr. McGrath shared fascinating stories about his job creating the sets that bring movies to life.
This visit was especially meaningful as the third graders are currently learning about dramas and plays, focusing on how the setting helps tell a story. Hearing directly from someone who builds real movie sets helped students connect their classroom learning to real-world experiences.
We were so lucky to have Mr. McGrath join us and inspire our young learners with his creativity and behind-the-scenes insights into the magic of filmmaking!

🎄🎁 As you’re tidying up for the holidays or sorting through toys and kid-friendly items, do you have items that may have lost their sparkle at home, but could still be loved by another child? 🎁🎄
Lincoln would be thrilled to give them new life! 💛. We are collecting gently used toys, games, books, and kid-friendly items to use as fun incentives for academic growth. Our students work so hard, and these treasures make wonderful motivators and celebrations!
If you have items looking for a second home, feel free to drop them off in the office. Thank you for helping us spread joy, support learning, and keep the magic of the season alive at Lincoln! 🦁✨
We appreciate your support of our Lincoln students!
