Have a great weekend!

We are so fortunate to have some of the most amazing staff members here at Lincoln Elementary! They battled the heat to paint sensory walkways and playground activities for our students. We can't wait to start the 25/26 school year and let the fun begin!

The LaSalle County Veteran Assistance Commission has created a new program to benefit families of veterans. If you are a veteran family and are in need of assistance getting school supplies, please reach out to the VAC. They have limited supplies available on a first come/first serve basis.
If you have any questions, please reach out via the contact information on the flyer.
For those families that don't qualify for assistance from the VAC, but need assistance with school supplies, please contact the Lincoln office for more information.

Dear Lincoln Families,
I inadvertently sent out some inaccurate information about the start of the 25/26 school year and wanted to update you with the correct information.
First Day of School Information
The first day of school for students in Grades 1-4 is Wednesday, August 20th, with students dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Preschool and Kindergarten students will attend orientation with their parents/guardians for a portion of the first day. Information about both orientations can be found in the back to school information that was sent out on Friday.
UPDATE: Beginning on Thursday, August 21st, we will be following a Tuesday Dismissal Schedule for all students (Grades K-4). Beginning September 3, 2025, we will begin our regular dismissal times (MWRF at 2:50 and T at 2:20).
Preschool teachers will be conducting home visits August 21st and 22nd with no preschool students in attendance those days. The preschool staff will be getting in touch with families to schedule these visits.
The first day for regular preschool student attendance will be August 25th.
AM session: 8:45-11:15
PM session: 12:00-2:30
Full Day: 8:30-2:30
I am so sorry for any inconvenience that the misinformation may have caused. As always, thank you for your flexibility and support.
Just a reminder that class assignments for 1st-4th grade students can be accessed via TeacherEase beginning today, August 11. Kindergarten and Preschool class assignments should arrive in the mail very soon if you haven't received them already.
