On Thursday, December 7, Central and Shepherd hosted Literacy Night. Students, staff, and families had fun answering trivia questions about the books they had read and enjoyed some yummy snacks. Everyone had a great time!

On December 5, the DoChange Mentor Program from Ottawa High School visited Central School to have lunch with our September and October Champions of the Charter. The high school students were able to have lunch with our students, and a little fun at recess! Thank you to Mr. Amm, Mrs. Parrot, and all of the student mentors for helping our champions celebrate their accomplishment!

On Friday, December 1, our Friendly City Sound students performed at Pleasant View Nursing Home, and at Freezing for a Reason. They did an outstanding job!

Congratulations to Ashley Culjan on being chosen as the next recipient of the Kids First Award! Thank you for all you do for our students!
