Back to School Healthy Savings

With all of the late construction happening at each of the K-4 buildings, we are going to have to cancel Supply Drop Off Night this year. We ask that students and parents break up their supplies and bring them in a little at a time. For example, bring the essentials (paper, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, etc.) that first day of school (Wednesday) and then bring some more in on Thursday and the rest on Friday. We are going to replace Supply Drop Off Night with more of an Open House format that will be held on Thursday, September 5th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Parents will be allowed to come into their child’s K-4 school to see their child’s classroom along with meeting their child’s classroom teacher.

We couldn’t close out this amazing year without announcing our PAW-SOME Champions of the Charter for the month of May. The following emotional scientists really persevered throughout the month of May by letting their BEST SELF shine bright! They were smart with their emotions, used their emotion regulation tools, had a growth mindset, and lent a helping hand to those in need! Ultimately, their paw-some efforts helped create a positive learning environment for everyone! Way to have the mindset and heart of a CHAMPION!!
Here are JES’s Champions of the Charter for the month of May:

More American Hero Wax Museum pictures!

Mrs. Allen’s third grade participated in an American Hero Wax Museum this week! Each student researched about an important American hero, wrote a speech, dressed-up, and gave a speech in first-person form. They also created American symbol murals in groups. Students had a great time presenting to family members and friends!
