Ms. Manning’s 3rd grade class visited The Little Red Schoolhouse today and learned about the history of the one room schoolhouse.
Financial Plus recently visited fourth grade to help increase their financial literacy!
Jefferson 3rd Graders enjoyed a presentation with a Financial Plus representative. They learned about saving, spending and budgeting. They loved all of the activities and goodies provided by Financial Plus! Thanks, Ms. Geiger, for the great lesson!
What an amazing start to the 24-25 school year! Our JES kiddos are definitely pretty PAW-some this year!! With that being said, we have some very special news to share! It is time to announce our very FIRST Champions of the Charter for the month of September. The following emotional scientists showed grit, grace, and kindness throughout the month of September by letting their BEST SELF shine bright! As we know, this can be quite challenging, especially the first month of school. Ultimately, their outstanding effort helped to create a positive learning environment, helping everyone feel our top Charter feelings this year, which include: Safe, Included, Loved, Happy, and Focused. Way to have the mindset and heart of a CHAMPION!!

Don't forget to pick up your mums and donuts today if you ordered them. You can pick them up from 2:30-5:30 at Jefferson. They have all been delivered and waiting to be picked up!!!!

Jefferson is running a fundraiser through Snap! Raise and it is a fundraiser to raise money to replace our playground on the Southside of the building. It has served Jefferson well, but it is definitely time to replace it. All we ask you to do is sign up through Snap! Raise through the app or through their website. All the information is attached to this email and it is very easy to do. Once you sign up, we are asking that you put in 20 emails or phone numbers to family and friends that you think would like to donate to our new playground that will benefit the students at Jefferson Elementary. It is all online, so you can invite relatives and friends from across the state and even the country to help get a new playground for Jefferson. There is a QR code attached and some other information as well where you can scan and download the app. A hard copy of this will be coming home on Monday too. Snap! Raise does not sell or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. No user information will be sold or shared in any way to any third-party website for any reason whatsoever.
We appreciate your continued support of the students and staff at Jefferson Elementary and hopefully we can raise enough money to replace our current playground on the Southside of the building.

Jefferson students and staff showed their football spirit today!
Happy Wednesday! Just a friendly reminder, we will have Jefferson's open house tomorrow, from 5:30-7:00!!! Be sure to check out the gymnasium, following classroom tours, for our community wellness event! We will have FUN, prizes, community agencies, and resources available in our area to support our PAW-some JES families this school year!!!
