Wellness Committee announcement!

Camp Tuckabatchee is hosting its annual Haunted Camp fundraiser this month and is seeking adult and student volunteers for setup, concessions, and scare actor roles. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to volunteer alongside students as they earn Purple Cord hours supporting a non-profit organization.

If you are unable to volunteer, please consider supporting their fundraising efforts by attending the Haunted Camp, where they offer both scary and non-scary options.

Free workshop for youth ages 10 and up at Nell’s Woodland in Ottawa on Sept 6, 2025

Summer break is quickly coming to an end and it's time to start thinking about school again! The nutrition department is happy to announce that all OES students will be offered their school meals (breakfast & lunch) FREE of charge again this school year! Since the free benefit is for a full meal only, children who choose to take ONLY a milk, will be required to pay for the milk at a cost of .50 and they must have funds available in their school meal account. Deposits can be made in your child's school office. Attached is the menu for the first week of school.

Just a note to say a big THANK YOU to all who participated in or donated time or supplies for our summer program! The program was bigger than last year and certainly kept us busy! We hope to offer the program again next summer so keep an eye out for info in late spring!

On Monday, August 18, the Shepherd Middle School office will be closing at 11:00 so all staff can attend back to school meetings.

We will re-open for Supply Drop-Off Night from 5:30-7:00.

The summer will soon be coming to an end and so is our summer meal program! This will be the last week for ordering meal bags. Pick up day will be on Wednesday, August 13th from 10am -1pm at Shepherd Middle School. Place your orders now using the link below!
