We hope everyone is having an enjoyable holiday break! 1st graders have been redeeming their red tickets for good behavior to have lunch in the library with Mrs. Jett. Keep up the good work!
Students and staff were festive today in their holiday sweaters! We're looking forward to pajama day tomorrow to conclude our week of dress up days and begin our winter break!
Congratulations to our first and second grade students on a wonderful set of music programs this evening!
We "rocked" our dress up day today. Tomorrow's dress up day is "Christmas sweater day." So wear those fun, festive sweaters!
"Merry Mustang Day" at McKinley today was a hit. Students and staff wore McKinley gear while dressing them up in a Christmas way. Tomorrow is "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree". Wear your rock/band apparel and add on some Christmas gear!
Students and staff kicked off a week of celebration today by dressing in green/Grinch attire. Tomorrow is Merry Mustang Day where students and staff are encourage to wear McKinley Mustang gear, but make it festive by adding holiday accessories!
Don't forget, Monday we kick off our Holiday celebration with fun dress up days!!! It's always fun to see the staff and students dress up!

1st grade has continued their Kindness Project into December. This month they had donations from other grade levels that helped fill our local micro pantries!
Thank you to PTO for hosting the Holiday Shop for our students! Students have had a blast picking out presents for their loved ones!
Congratulations to our November Champions of the Charter! These students had the opportunity to eat lunch with two of our Ottawa first responders. Thank you to our first responders for taking time out of their day to congratulate our Champions!
Our 1st and 3rd grade reading students had a celebration party for meeting their word challenge! We are so proud of your growth!
This week in the library Mrs. Jett celebrated the Family Reading Night winners with lunch in the library. Mrs. Jett's daughter even made a guest appearance one day. Thank you to all that participated. Reading with our children is the best gift we can give them!
