Friendship House recently visited with our third graders. Our third graders performed their music program and then everyone participated together by playing Bingo! We appreciate their visit to McKinley!
One of our students attended the Illinois Valley All Stars Track Meet at Central this past weekend and did a great job representing McKinley! Ladanniale participated in the hurdles, softball throw, frisbee toss, and 100 Meter Dash.

We kicked off spring break by enjoying music concerts from our 3rd and 4th grade students under the direction of Mrs. Sanders! A big congratulations to these students on their performances earlier this week as well! We also had students and staff battle it out with the championship rounds of our school-wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament. Congratulations to Raelynn H. and Mrs. Johnson for being crowned the winners of our tournament! Have a fantastic spring break!

This is just a reminder of our half day tomorrow (Friday, March 21) with dismissal at 11:30 a.m. OES will be closed next week for Spring Break and we will resume on Monday, March 31. We wish all of our families a safe and enjoyable break!
Registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open for both current students and incoming Kindergarten students. Please help spread the word as we prepare for next school year!
